That's fear of Friday the 13th and also my new favorite word. How would you like to have a psychologist (or is that a psychiatrist?) diagnose that one?
While this is technically true, I think it important that the reader is not mislead. Therefore I must clarify:
Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13. Paraskavedekatriaphobia is a derivative of this, and only encompasses fear of the day, not the number. We wouldn't want any psychiatrist to make a blunder and misdiagnose your emotional disorder. The results could cause a chain reaction that cause Dave to delete this comment, and cut off all further contact with his blog.
Thanks for that clarification, Laura. I'd hate for anyone to be overly confused. It's good for people to stay close to the optimal level of confusion. I think I looked this up because it was around Friday the 13th and I knew there was some word for this.
Stochastic musings on topics selected in a slapdash fashion. That means random comments about random stuff.
Iron Lion Zion is one of my favorite Bob Marley songs. Why? See my Jan. 13th post.
